It possesses terrific caramelized red and black fruit notes intermixed with notions of lychee nuts, apricot jam, cassis, licorice and black cherries. This intense, full-bodied, elegant, seductive, rich 2009 still has some tannin to shed, so 4-5 years of cellaring is recommended. It should last for 25+ years thereafter. |
