| Description: | Newton sourced the fruit for their 2018 Skyside Chardonnay from the North Coast AVAs of Mendocino, Sonoma Valley, Suisun Valley, Alexander Valley, Knights Valley, Chalk Hill, Redwood Valley, and Los Carneros Napa. Their goal is to source the best grapes from several diverse areas within the region, allowing them to craft a wine that is vribrant, balanced, and complex. The 2018 Skyside Chardonnay shows vibrant aromas of peach, bright citrus, and honeysuckle. Flavors of white nectarine and citrus fruit follow through on the palate woven together with subtle oak notes. The wine has a combination of bright citrus and stone fruit attributes. There is a nice fuller entry and good acid to lengthen the finish. |
