| Description: | A second label from the famous Orgo Winery in Georgia, this amber wine is not as full throttle as many others. The 50/50 blend of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane spends a whole month in contact with the skins in the traditional Qvevri rather than a half-year plus. All of the great bitterness is here, but it is clean and refreshing with peach-pit, almond, nectarine, and bitter honey. Just a little musty, but very enjoyable and a perfect example of the extra layer of complexity that skin-contact gives to wines. |
