2022 A Mano Primitivo Imprint Of Mark Shannon Appassito

Description: This particular Primitivo from Puglia (the heel of the boot) uses the Appassito method of drying the grapes after harvest, similar to Amarone. These grapes were dried for 5 weeks before being pressed, fermented and aged in underground concrete tanks. The end result is a fascinatingly delicious wine that will stun people at this price!. This ultra-ripe and super-expressive Primitivo bursts from the glass with ripe, rich fruit and notes of spice all wrapped around a core of lavish, silky smooth tannins. 60+ second finish. "This wine is deep red in colour. On the nose, there are intense aromas of ripe dark fruit, crushed raspberries, plums and Mediterranean spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a great concentration of ripe, rounded fruit." - Winery
