Second fill American oak ex-bourbon casks impart deep, dark spices before a period of further maturation in first fill Spanish oak casks which lend to notes of dried fruit and chocolate. The Smugglers Kettle Our unusually shaped pot stills, with particularly large boiling balls, make for a more fragrant whisky and character and inspired our distinctive bottle shape. Our use of worm tub condensers, an increasingly rare practice, adds body and depth to our whisky.
