| Description: | The Clos des Ruchottes is a high-toned, elegant wine that shows hints of cherry and pomegranate, plus an undercurrent of spice and earth on the nose. There is a great purity of fruit as this sees only 20% new casks for the ageing. It is silky and refined on the palate, with an impressive density deftly balanced by fresh acidity. Although it is charming even now, this will continue to improve for at least the next 20 years. |
