Smoky barrel scents and stony earthy qualities add complexity and depth. Fragrant and very enticing. Full bodied on the palate with flavors of dark berries and plums, spice and toasty barrel all reflect the bouquet. Bold tannins and medium+ acidity driver through foundation and mouthfeel. Violets and a gun-flint layer round out a delicious overall palate.
