| Description: | Franck Follin, who has directed this 6-ha enterprise since 1993, described the 2018 growing season as "rather extraordinary in several different respects. A very wet and cool spring initially had us worried for reasons of potential frost, poor flowering and disease pressure and other than some mildew concerns, none of those things occurred. Even more ironic was the fact that the summer was so hot and dry that we realized in hindsight that the wet spring was extremely beneficial because without those water reserves the vines would undoubtedly have suffered greatly. |
