Villiera Tradition Brut Rosé - NV
| Description: | A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinotage, and Pinot Meunier, the grapes are harvested early to preserve acidity. Whole bunches are gently pressed, and the rosé tint comes from the addition of a small quantity of specially-prepared red wine of Pinotage. After secondary fermentation in the bottle, the wine is allowed to rest on the lees for an average of eighteen months. Notes of tart strawberry, strawberry shortcake, and a hint of rhubarb on the nose and palate, with a rich mouthfeel and a crisp, refreshing finish. Delightful as an aperitif or paired with semi-soft cheeses, salads, sushi, or other light fare. – Abv: 12% |
