The Taupenot-merme Domaine is located in the heart of the CĂ´te de Nuits, in Morey Saint Denis, and cultivates 13 Ha of vines spread over 20 appellations in the CĂ´te de Beaune and the CĂ´te de Nuits. Romain Taupenot is the ninth generation to run this family domaine in Morey-Saint-Denis. Having farmed organically since 2001, the Taupenots seek to respect the character of each climat to yield wines of purity and grace that are faithful to their appellation of origin. Romain jokingly refers to himself as a âlazy winemaker,â prioritizing work in the vineyard in order to minimize the need for intervention in the cellar. Bourgogne Passetoutgrain are made from a blend of pinot noir and gamay, are juicy, fragrant, uncomplicated and affordable. |
