Worthy Park Single Estate Rum 750 12 yr 112pf
Vintage: | 2006 |
---|---|
Description: | History,. Its their oldest rum at 12 years. Aged in ex bourbon barrel. Its cask strength (56%), non chill filtered, no additivesnot even caramel. Music to my ears! Its the Wpl mark, which stands for Worthy Park Light. This means its lower on esters. Dont think this isnt a funky rum though, its still very Jamaican. Just not Hampden Dok. Tasting Notes,. Nose: Little mint, molasses, brine, olives, citrus, vanilla and a beautiful smokey combo of tobacco and leather. All this is combined with a mild honey like sweetness. Palate: Nice mild sweetness to it, honey, oak, banana, citrus, a bit of smoke, mint and caramel. The leather and tobacco return in the long and enjoyable finish. |
