It is a\u00a0medium to full-bodied wine with considerable presence; \u2018Cockscomb\u2019 shows a lovely nose of red currants and blackberries and finishes with well-rounded tannins and length.\r\nFood Pairing - \u00a0with roast leg of lamb or with hard cheeses.\r\nAbout Spring Seed\r\nBattle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wine Co is owned and managed by Joch Bosworth and his partner, Louise Hemsley-Smith. Joch\u2019s parents planted the vineyard in the early 1970\u2019s. Son Joch took over the management in 1995 and was responsible for converting the vineyards to Organic. All vineyards are Australian Certified Organic for both brands.\r\nLouise and Joch established the brands Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wine Co in 2001. All wine for both brands is estate grown and Organic. Joch is the viticulturist and winemaker while Louise manages Sales and Marketing. Joch\u2019s winemaking philosophy is a constant spirit of experimentation in the vineyard and winery, along with traditional vinification and natural minimal processing, combined with organic and sustainable viticulture allowing them to capture the purity, integrity, texture and flavour of the vineyard in their wines.\r\nSpring Seed Wines are made from grapes lovingly grown in the Bosworth family\u2019s organic vineyards, located in the premium wine region of McLaren Vale, South Australia.\r\nThe vineyards were established in the early 1970s by Peter and Anthea Bosworth, and are now owned and run by their son Joch (and partner Louise Hemsley-Smith), who began the conversion to organic viticulture in 1995.\r\nThe vines are fully certified \u2018A\u2019 grade organic by Australian Certified Organic (ACO P\/L\u00a0), a process that takes four years and involves yearly audits and random sampling of produce.
