| Description: | The Disciples project - so called for a series of vineyards that are "disciples" to the historic G.B. Crane site: 48% Zinfandel, 38% Petite Sirah, and 14% Merlot. The 2019 is a little darker and dryer with a hefty dose of Petite Sirah lending density and backbone. Aromatically, the wine is boisterously expressive with notes of violet, lilac, blackberry, dark roses, supple leather and exotic spices. Soft tannins abound with palate-coating density resulting in a luscious finish that lingers. |
