| Description: | \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTasting notes\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAppearance: the colour is garnet-red, very steady, deep and brilliant with purple lights.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNose: open, expressive and complex with aromas of very ripe black fruits (elderberry, blackberry), some spicy scents (pepper, Garrigue).\n\n\n\n\nPalate: great attack, tight but silky tannins. One notices a dominance of spicy scents, a lot of richness, a good length and a very ethereal final.\n\n\n\nSommelier's advice: game and truffle, big piece of beef.\n\nGrape variety\/varieties:Grenache 65%, Syrah 35%.\n\n\n\n\n\nHarvest: Grapes are hand-harvested.\n\n\n\n\nSoil: Clay and calcareous soil and schists.\n\n\n\n\nVinification: The extraction is only performed by punsching of the cap during a long maceration which lasts at least 4 weeks.\n\n\n\n\nAgeing: 100% in barrels for 18 months.\n\n\n\n\nAlcohol content: 14\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRatings \ |
