The family has been apart of the Farm bureau and Napa Valley Grapegrowers. In 2011, the family was awarded the Napa Valley Grower of the Year award. Francois Peschon joined the team in 2008. She was very much drawn to the families legacy and their determination to craft a wine of place from their estate vineyards. She states "Creating a wine of place has as much to do with the human element as it does the site-integrity to keep out of the way and let the land speak for itself. VHR is all about the vineyard." |
