It offers terrific notes of cassis, blueberries, violets and wood smoke, medium to full body, ripe tannin and a classy finish. It way over-delivers for the price. It's worth pointing out that this cuvee comes mostly from vineyards planted, and farmed, by Charles Smith and Brennan Leighton; this undoubtedly contributes to the incredibly high quality. |
