The wine has a lush weight on the mid palate that carries sweet fruit flavors with hints of lavender. While the rambunctious tempranillo and zinfandel portions are occasional blend partners the outlier petit verdot brought this wine back to a serious place by adding depth of flavor and a defined structure.
