| Description: | 45% Grenache, 35% Mourvèdre, 19% Syrah from high-elevation Shake Ridge vineyard in Sierra Foothills. Fermentation is 20-30% whole cluster for a smooth, fresh texture, and then the wine is aged in 15% new oak. A very attractive nose of wild flowers, dried herbs, pepper, licorice, raspberries, and blackberries leads on to a palate full of crunchy fruits and with firm, structured tannins and a long, full finish. |
