| Description: | The brainchild of entrepreneur and cognac-maker Alexandre Gabriel, the Plantation was established with the goal of showcasing the best rums the Caribbean and Latin America has to offer. Setting up shop in Jamaica, Gabriel and his team originally scoured the region for their finest distillates, blending them in their facility before to France where they are finished in used cognac casks. Following their acquisition of the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados in 2017, however, the company began producing rums to their own specification utilizing the vast wealth of knowledge they have accumulated over the years to craft even more exquisite rum expressions than ever before. |
