Bhakta 1973 Armagnac is a truly exceptional spirit, a 50-year-old vintage awarded the #1 Spirit of 2023 by The Ultimate Spirits Challenge (99 points). This exquisite Armagnac boasts a complex flavor profile with notes of zesty blood orange, rich Caranni leather, dried fruits like raisins and dates, and burnished oak. The aroma is equally captivating, offering a harmonious blend of expressive wood, hints of tar, and a delightful balance of chocolate, dark vanilla honey, and soft spices. The finish is long, satisfying, and leaves a lingering pleasantness on the palate. This bottle represents a landmark year, not just for its quality, but also for its historical significance. It's part of the Bhakta Spirits Vintage Library, a collection featuring single-vintage Armagnacs dating back to 1868.
