| Description: | Burghound 93 Points - "a discreet but perceptible note of oak toast surrounds the elegant and pure nose of essence of spicy wild black raspberry, earth and a whiff of cassis. There is impressive density of material to the nicely delineated middle weight flavors that offer very good volume on the suave and round finish that exudes a lovely minerality. This lightly austere and markedly powerful effort will need at least a few years of bottle age to soften what are presently very firm tannins, which is just as well as it needs more depth. Even so, this is really quite impressive and worth your interest provided you're willing to age it." |
