| Description: | Practicing Organic Farming. 100% Tintore. This old variety is rare to find bottled, especially with such quality. The vines are ungrafted and, according to the estate, are between 150 & 300 years old. Vinifed in stainless steel, the wine is then aged in 2500-Liter barrels for 18-24 months. It resembles one of the classic Bordeaux varieties in character. The soils here are thin red clay and pumice over Dolomite limestone. "Nose: undergrowth, ash, graphite, blackberry. Palate: it shows the strong, original and wild character of Tintore grape. Elegant, deep, smooth, earthy, velvety with a long and persistent finish.
