| Description: | From a 0.34ha parcel of mature vines on the Aloxe side, just under the wood at the top of the slope. The fruit is gently crushed and run into cask, with the lees, using only a modest proportion of new casks. In 2019 it has delivered lovely fresh aromas of tropical fruit and just a hint of spice. There is enough freshness to balance the wine and an almost chewy breadth on the palate. Maturation will last two winters and this should age well. Decanter |
