| Description: | Dominus is the proprietary red wine made by Christian Moueix and his dedicated team in the Napa Valley. They concentrate on highlighting the special terroir of sunny Napanook, while still creating a balanced, structured noble wine. Moueix is the talented Bordelais estate manager and winemaker who elevated famous premium Right Bank Bordeaux properties such as Chateau Petrus, La Fleur-Petrus, La Providence, La Serre, Trotanoy and Hosanna. Dominus 2007 is a seamless "haute couture" estate wine with an intensely aromatic nose and perfectly elegant palate. Notes of ripe red cherries, fresh almonds, pomegranate and blond tobacco precede sweet tannins and a wonderful, bright finish with great length. It is youthful, noble and discreet. |
