| Description: | 91-94 Jm / 16.5 Jr / 91 Wa. Pale to mid yellow. Attractive ripe plum bouquet hiding white fruit beneath, little liquorice touch, good detail, this has attractive weight but retains a super mineral fresh streak with a delicious lick of balanced ripe fruit to finish.-Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Sumptuous. Rich and almost exotic. I'm afraid there is a hint of pineapple here but it's nothing like the New World barrel-fermented Chardonnays of old. Savoury tight finish with a lightly bitter note. Fun!-Jancis Robinson. The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Clos de la Maréchale Blanc is rich and fleshy, bursting with aromas of pear, white flowers, buttered toast, orange oil and smoke.
