Description: | The 2004 Ledgewood Creek Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicious blend of grapes grown in the Wooden Valley area of Napa Valley and estate-grown Suisun Valley fruit. This wine won a top-prize Gold Medal at the Monterey Wine Competition and is currently entered into additional national wine competitions where it is a sure bet to pick up additional honors. A deep, dark, rich, red-hued Cabernet that explodes with a full and balanced bouquet of dark cherries and black berries upon opening. On the palate, the classic berry and plum fruit flavors come alive and remain throughout the nice finish. Balanced tannins with oak nuances complement the intriguing fruit layers. A luscious wine that is very enjoyable today and crafted to develop even more with aging. Pair with Beouf Bourguignon, herb-infused beef, blue cheese accented entrees, garlic mashed potatoes and other full-flavored entrees. Read More. |
