| Description: | Cliff Lede Vineyards was established in 2002, when Canadian businessman Cliff Lede purchased S. Anderson Vineyard, a family-owned producer of still and sparkling wines founded in 1971. Set at the northern end of the Stags Leap District, the winery has 55 acres of estate vineyards planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot. In addition, a 15-acre estate vineyard on Mount Veeder yields Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Chardonnay. Cliff Lede wines are an exuberant expression of the winery's Napa Valley vineyards and reflect the natural harmony and balance encouraged through compost and organic fertilizer, cover croping, native plant insectaries, deficit irrigation, integrated pest management and solar panels. |
