| Description: | Italian grape varieties grown in California just work extremely well. The blend is made up of undisclosed percentages of what we presume are Sangiovese, Barbera, Alicante Nero (Barbera) and Primitivo (Zinfandel). A moderate amount of 25% new oak ties the fruit together in a way similar to Napa Cabernet. Blackberries, plums, cassis, black cherries and a creamy rich palate. A great balance to the blends proof they know what they are doing at Jacob Franklin. |
