| Description: | Decanter - An historic estate founded in 1857, Bertani is now one of six Italian domains owned by the Angelini pharmaceutical group. With grapes dried on traditional bamboo racks until the beginning of January and ageing predominantly in large Slavonian oak casks, the Valpantena Amarone stays true to its roots. The nose is lifted, with dried rose notes along with a mellowed bouquet of tobacco and leather.
