| Description: | Everybody knows that Sancerre is made from Sauvignon Blanc, but it less common knowledge that the only red grape that grows in the region is Pinot Noir. Uniquely, 30% of the Thirot-Fournier holdings are Pinot Noir, which is made entirely into rosé. This is just what you would expect from a Loire rosé with minerals shining, floral notes wafting and acidity zigging and zagging. Always richer, fruitier and zestier than Provence. |
