The Chablis from this father/son duo comes from 30 year old Chardonnay vines from their vineyard sites around the village of Préhy. On the nose, this wine enjoys intense aromas of white flower, lemon and stone fruit. On the palate, an exceedingly well-balanced wine with exceptional minerality comes forward and the exceptional finesse and purity make for a lingering and solid finish. While this wine has many meals that it can accompany, its best qualities come forward with a fresh piece of fish in a simple beurre blanc with a squeeze of lemon. |
