On the palate this ripe rich red blend is amazingly lively â" the weight of the RhĂ´ne varieties balanced perfectly by the mid-palate of our classic Merlot. A bit of Charbono completes the dance! Having just enough grip in the finish makes this a very approachable, versatile, food-friendly red wine. Like its namesake, this Griffin is a powerful combination of strengths. This year's blend is 44% Merlot, 40% Petite Sirah, 14% Syrah, and 2% Charbono. |
