| Description: | The Käferberg Vineyard from Weszli is so full of mineral and layers of depth it seems to redefine the grape itself. Flavoas and aromas rarely found in white wines appear; sweet cigar, earl grey tea and framboise are accompanied by the more familiar white pepper, chamomile, orange zest, honeycomb and baking spice. The overall structure of the wine supports the massive acidity and minerals, proving great Grüner should be at the same table with great Riesling. |
