Produced from 100% Syrah and aged for six months more than the straight Fracture, the 2015 The Fracture 22 has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and nose of mulberries, red currant jelly and kirsch over nuances of blueberry pie, cinnamon stick, cardamom and dried herbs, plus a touch of dusty soil.
