| Description: | 92-93 The 2022 Edad Moderna Malbec was finished and about to be bottled when I tasted it. It's a wine that wants to show the purity of Tupungato (it mixes fruit from El Peral and Gualtallary), and it's a bit wild and spicy with abundant, fine-grained tannins and a chalky finish. It's a cool vintage, but the grapes were picked at full ripeness and the wine finished with 14% alcohol but very good balance. It matured exclusively in concrete without epoxy. 15,000 bottles produced. |
