| Description: | The little-known sub-region of Cadillac is well known for sweet white wines, but they do produce some stellar dry red Bordeaux. A blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, the 2014 vintage saw a fair amount of rain, but an extended Indian gave the grapes extra hang time. The wine is very accessible with ripe fruits and silky tannins. Big, rich and opulent, with black fruits and firm structure. |
