| Description: | Wine maker notes The old gold color with intense tint, the delicate aroma of candied fruit and apricot, and a warm, sweet, harmonious taste: these are the characteristics of this wine embodied by its name, Aurico. A white muscatel dessert wine, with a fine, elegant body reminiscent of Sauternes: an exceptional Moscadello di Montalcino, late harvest of Moscato grapes. The grapes are left to wither on the vines, allowing a very high sugar concentration. The must obtained from a gentle pressing is fermented in barriques where it rests two years for ageing. |
