It has a delicate and fresh beautiful structure with a finish promising a great vintage.\r\nBlend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc\r\nFood Pairings - Lamb meatballs, pork belly\u00a0\r\nVinous 95 Points \r\nWine Enthusiast 95 Points \r\nJames Suckling 94 Points\r\nAbout Ch\u00e2teau Gloria\r\nA relatively young estate, Ch\u00e2teau Gloria was founded and assembled by Monsieur\u00a0Henri Martin who established the reputation of Gloria within the space of a generation.\u00a0With the first acquisitions of 6 hectares (15 acres) of vines in 1942, and purchase of the\u00a0chai\u00a0of\u00a0Ch\u00e2teau Saint-Pierre, Martin added to the estate over the years with land bought from the surrounding classed estates, including ch\u00e2teaux Saint-Pierre,\u00a0Beychevelle,\u00a0L\u00e9oville-Poyferr\u00e9,\u00a0Gruaud-Larose,\u00a0L\u00e9oville-Barton,\u00a0Ducru-Beaucaillou,\u00a0Lagrange\u00a0and a Saint-Julien property of\u00a0Duhart-Milon, making up its present size.\r\nThe estate was included in the proposal by\u00a0INAO\u00a0to revise the\u00a01855 classification, and subsequently became listed in the\u00a0private classification\u00a0of\u00a0Alexis Lichine\r\nThe current proprietor of the estate is Martin's son-in-law,\u00a0Jean-Louis Triaud. |
