Once the trademarked red wax is removed and uncorked, an alluring aroma of caramel (similar to a Werther's Orignal) springs forth to the front; once the caramel recedes just a bit the mocha notes make sure to not go unnoticed along with hints of tobacco and raisins. Once on the palate, a cornucopia of flavors makes themselves known to the drinker: caramel, oak, nuts, cherry heavy fruit, cinnamon, clove, char and some toasted brown sugar. When exhaled you get one more taste of caramel, spice and dark fruit. |
