| Description: | This is a classic American Style Whiskey with a little more care in adding complexity. Its mostly corn with some hints of barley and inherently sweet and earthy. It is comprised of 4 different spirits, creating quite a unique blend 5 year 100% corn whiskey, 4 year Tennessee sour mash along with a light whiskey and some un-aged Bourbon distillate. Light and medium toasted barrels were commissioned from our coopers for the light whiskies as the tannins of the toast, high caramel and brown sugar, played well with the underlying butterscotch/sweet corn notes of the spirit. All the components are rested on Garryana Oak Garryana is harvested sparingly so the barrels are available in very limited quantities. |
