| Description: | The 2018 Alpasión Private Selection is a blend of 56% Malbec, 23% Syrah, 12% Petit Verdot and 9% Cabernet Franc that spent 18 months in mainly new barrels. Dark garnet red in hue. The aromas include dark fruit, blueberry and spices with clear woody notes, cigar box, mint and bay leaf. Potent, concentrated and treacly with firm but juicy tannins, the acidity helps to smooth out the flow. |
