| Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: Inspired by a 200-year legacy in blending fine Cognac, D'usse is is masterfully crafted by the Maitre de Chai at the prestigious Chateau de Cognac. The Chateau's proximity to the Charente River results in two climates within its walls: humid cellars that result in floral and dried fruit notes, and dry cellars that bring out flavors of wood and spice. Blending the eaux-de-vie from the individual cellars results in the uniquely bold, and yet distinctively smooth, character of D'usse Cognac. Our Maitre de Chai, Michel Casavecchia, meticulously hand-selects the rarest eaux-de-vie -- some of which have rested for years in the cellars of the Chateau de Cognac -- to craft the unique blend of D'usse Xo Cognac. Aged a minimum of ten years, the eaux-de-vie rest in French oak barrels to ensure the utmost complexity and depth in flavor. D'usse Xo Cognac delivers rich notes of ripe blackberry and apricot, layered with hints of dark chocolate and walnut, culminating in an exceptionally balanced finish.
