| Description: | The wine displays a deep garnet/black cherry core surrounded by a narrow dark pink rim. On the nose the wine offers a light to medium intensity of blackberry/blueberry fresh fruit with a hint of black cherry and fresh plum. On the palate the wine is dry, medium bodied with mouth-watering acidity and a medium level of structured tannin. The flavors are a medium intensity silar to the nose. The finish is clean with a medium length of medium intensity of flavors similar to the palate. Kenn Pogash ("the guy wearing the bow tie") (2018-12-14). Personal Note:. This wine was a surprise because it seemed to embrass more of the suble and food friendly characteristics usually experienced with a Left Bank Bordeaux. It has none of the big, bold, sweet ripe fruit characteristics that are so common with California Cabernet Sauvignon. |
