| Description: | Trends come and go, but well-made wine is timeless. This has been our gripe with orange/amber wines for half a decade, so you know this wine checks all the boxes. Traditional Georgian grapes, aged 6 months in Qvevri, unfiltered and just a little dirty. Not "natty" dirty, but more dry-aged beef dirty, thanks to a small amount of sulphur added. A clean nose of wet terra cotta, peach skin, dried apricot, sweet green olive, toffee and crystallized orange peel. The right amount skin contact and bitterness. |
