| Description: | Planted during Prohibition in 1922 by a then 21-year-old Sadie Upton at 1500 feet in Plymouth, CA, the wines are perfumed and light to medium weight on the palate with a bright, uplifting acidity. Chunks of granite, quartz, and silica litter the vineyard, and make themselves most evident in the fine-grained, well-integrated tannins. |
