| Description: | Sourced from four different vineyards with an average vine age of 40 years. 50% comes from a block of own-rooted vines at the Rorick Heritage Vineyard in the Sierra Foothills. Whole-cluster pressed and barrel-fermented with native yeast. Aged on the lees for 11 months and bottled unfired and unfiltered with minimal added sulfur. 2021 was a great vintage for white wines. This has a classic Chardonnay profile; ripe and bright with notes of citrus and melon. Creamy but still fresh, with hints of toasted nuts. Elegant and intense. |
