| Description: | 70% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from coastal Tuscany, spending 12 months in large old oak barrels to smooth out the grainy texture. Clean and pure on the nose, with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, red cherries, roses, violets, and pencil shavings. Great structure on the palate with firmly gripping tannins and a long round finish. Very good alternative to Right Bank Bordeaux, although a little more forward and generous. |
