The team at Bernardus hand picks some of the best fruit from select small-farm, highland vineyards. Sorted and vinified in small batches, the Pinot is then aged in French oak barrels. The resulting wine has solid Pinot character. I like the rich plum aromas up front with signature spice notes of cedar wood, clove, and cola. The palate flavors are lively and fresh with black cherry and cranberry fruit expression. A royal garnet color pulls your attention to every sip. Hard to resist.
