| Description: | (91-94 Points) Another knock-out is the 2007 Cotes du Rhone Les Garrigues, which comes from a parcel just outside of the estate holdings in Chateauneuf du Pape. It is one of the most concentrated 2007s produced, tipping the scales at a natural 16.3% alcohol. Made from mostly old vine Grenache, it could easily be mistaken for a Chateauneuf du Pape. The explosive bouquet of kirsch liqueur, sandy, loamy soil, spring flowers, pepper, and spice is followed by an opulent, super-concentrated, rich wine that should be purchased by the case.
