| Description: | 90-92 The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin Cherbaudes 1er Cru has a lifted, cold stone-driven bouquet with raspberry and dark cherry scents, a hint of wild heather in the background. The palate is precise and refined, lithe in the mouth with a saline touch towards the pastille-like finish. I appreciate the composure here. There is not enormous sustain in the mouth, but everything is in its right place. Very elegant. |
